100 New PXLs! PXLSketch 1.2 for Playdate
Hello creative types!
We're 30 days in from our initial launch, and I'm excited to share a big update to the app.
In PXLSketch 1.2, you get 100 more PXLs and 4 new PXL Categories — bringing us to a current total of 375 PXLs across 11 categories to unleash your creativity.
So what's new, besides this fancy PXL Menu ?
- 1 PX LINE: For more precision rectilinear drawing and thin containers.
- 30º ANGLES: Vertical angles in black and white combinations, including inverse.
- 60º ANGLES: Horizontal angles in black and white combinations, including inverse.
- PIPES: Straight pipes, rounded corners, 3-way and 4-way intersections, in solid, hollow and inverse
- TYPE: Some simple punctuation added.

Join us in stretching your pixelart skills daily with PXL Battles! Every day, a new prompt to explore. Share your screenshots with #pxlsketch or #pxlbattles and we'll highlight your work on our social channels! Here's an example from last week, taking full advantage of the new 30º, 45º and 60º angles.

Please need update, rewind in both sides and undo. I am skilled artist and will be happy to draw with that app but need those updates

Yes, move the PXL carousel up and down to select a PXL. Was play today to finish idea of the day, (letter J) actually great app.
If you’ll have inspiration to add something just know, there is people who love and use your app 🙌🏻
And it would be nice add much more pages, it's such a pity to delete the originals. I am only drawing on playdate 😢
RIght now PXLSketch has 10 pages - are you using them all?
